Description
Horizontal stems are above ground, or just below the surface of the duff layer. At fairly regular intervals, erect shoots emerge, each with two or more branches near the base. Branch leaves are rectangular in cross-section, somewhat shiny, green. Peduncles terminal on lateral branches and spikes (1–4) occur on each peduncle.
